Evert Hendrikx always had the dream to start his own business. Without wasting any precious time, he started his first company right after his school exams at the age of 22. His fanatical commitment, right mentality and perseverance has ensured that Evert runs a successful business. At his location in Lottum he is now also working hard on a new and modern office.

After several successful years, Evert and 4 other entrepreneurs in the region, put their heads together and founded the Varketing Group cooperative. At this moment there are 8 companies running under Varketing Group in the municipalities of Horst aan de Maas and Venray. At present these companies collectively own 3.000 sows and 20.000 fattening pigs.

Dashboard Inno+

The chemical scrubber that Evert had installed by Inno+ 11 years ago is checked monthly and maintained annually. Evert can easily check the air scrubber himself because of the customer-friendly use of the dashboard. Here you can immediately see how the scrubber is functioning and whether there are any malfunctions at that time or perhaps have been.

Regular maintenance scores 10 out of 10

Because Evert and his team carry out regular maintenance in the right way, especially cleaning the scrubber. We see that over the years there have been no serious or prolonged breakdowns. It is therefore not surprising when we look in the dashboard at the results of Evert in June 2022 (but also in other months) that we end up with a total score of 10. This shows that no matter how old an air scrubber is, by structured and proper maintenance with the commitment of the team, that scrubbers older than 10 years continue to function perfectly.

Maintenance service

In the past 11 years there have been some minor problems here and there. In particular, the sulphuric acid occasionally gave a fault. This has been solved by the Inno+ mechanics by placing the acid injection higher than the acid tank. Because it is higher, the acid that ends up in the water immediately goes with the flow of the water and will not end up at the bottom and accumulate.

Water quality makes all the difference

The maintenance that Evert performs is of course a very large factor in the proper functioning of the scrubber. Yet here another adjustment was made so that the scrubber had fewer failures. We no longer use groundwater, but only clean tap water. This modification not only reduced the number of malfunctions but also made it unnecessary to add anti-foam to the water. Of course, this also saves on costs.
