TA-Luft Symposium in Cloppenburg
Balancing between Sustainability and Development in Agriculture
On 31 August 2023, we organised a top-class event together with our partner Optima in Cloppenburg. In cooperation with other speakers, we decided to organise a symposium on TA-Luft. And it was a great success!
Cloppenburg-based consultancy Optima Immobilien und Projektvermittlung GmbH led the programme and contributed significantly to the success of the event. Stephan Bicker, managing director of Optima, was responsible for moderating and led the programme with his professional and relaxed manner. Thank you for that!
Full house, different perspectives
The event was very well attended (full house) by a large number of participants and a good mix of farmers, expert planners, experts, government representatives and many other professional groups. This led to many spirited comments and questions from the participants.
The stimulating topic of “TA-Luft” was presented by the various speakers in a practical and clear manner, as well as in a professional manner.
And unfortunately the bitter truth remains, there are still many factual issues that remain insufficiently answered and provide no planning certainty for our farmers!
As the title of the event was “Challenges and perspectives in implementing TA-Luft”, it quickly became clear that there are plenty of challenges. However, from the different topics of the speakers, we could see that there are also opportunities and perspectives. So don’t stick your head in the sand, but look ahead and look for opportunities for individual development. Of course, this is always easier said than done…
Air scrubbers make money and energy
It is common knowledge that many factors have to fit to address and implement a developmental step. However, products from Inno+ in Panningen can be a building block to successfully build animal welfare houses in such a way that a meaningful combination of emission control and energy recovery requirements is possible. This became clear from UNI Bonn’s research. In the final result, Hauke Deeken showed that water-air heat exchangers (the Triple EEE – System from Inno+) could achieve the highest efficiency value in energy recovery.
The question quickly arose in the group of participants whether the system could be applied to all animal species. This was obviously not the task of the study, but here our sales manager Roland Tapken was able to quickly clarify. At the end of the event, Roland Tapken presented the variety of Inno+ products and showed the many variable technical combinations. It quickly became clear that Inno+ products not only comply with TA-Luft, but also make economic sense for the farmer and lead to even more animal welfare on our farms.
