The success story of Stevens pig farm and Inno+
Several years ago, Frank Stevens, co-owner of Varkensbedrijf Stevens of Hilvarenbeek came to the conclusion that his pigs and piglets were a heater; the heat they emitted went straight out into the open while it could easily be utilized for other purposes. To achieve this, the pig farmer got in touch with Inno+ in 2021; together they came to the conclusion that the Triple EEE system could offer a solution to the heat waste. After implementation, the first results were soon apparent. During a cold winter with temperatures of -10 degrees the system provided an indoor temperature of +10 degrees without additional heating. The now energy-neutral pig farm achieved great results thanks to the pre-heating of the incoming air: its pigs grew by about 50 to 75 grams within two years.
