Porcus air scrubbers – another satisfied customer
To assess how our air scrubbers and service are experienced by our customers in practice, myself and my colleague Mischa Hermkens visited one of the largest. This family business with various locations in the Netherlands and Germany, breeds fattening pigs, sows and piglets. We spoke with Anton Gijsen the manager, who is responsible for the air scrubbers within the company.
Continuous monitoring for optimal performance
Anton indicated that they now have 5 air scrubbers from Inno+ running, 2 biological and 3 chemical, and that the 6th is on the way. These systems are continuously monitored by Anton. Not only for the proper functioning of the air scrubber, but also because heat pumps are connected to them that use the air scrubbers as a heat source. With this technique, the heat from the shed is recovered via the wash water from the air scrubber. It is therefore very sustainable and also important that the systems work well continuously, not only to clean the air but also to provide the animals with heat.
Daily monitoring via the cloud
Anton is satisfied that the air scrubber technology, works well. The amount of sensors and control equipment is large, but it is also necessary for the correct operation and visibility. Cleaning the air scrubber with the special hoses also works well. All the air scrubbers are connected to the internet, so that the data can be viewed everywhere. This monitoring is clear and is checked by him on a daily basis. Anton tells us, ‘Internet access to data logging of some air scrubbers has also been made available to the municipality because “we want to be transparent”.
Happy to continue the partnership
When asked why Inno+ was chosen, he answered that his company likes to buy locally, everything in the neighborhood, everything the same and stable. After purchasing the 1st Inno+ air scrubber, they were satisfied with the product and service and have never changed since then.
